Welcome to the Russian Network of Youth and Student Amnesty International Groups!

If you want to learn more about Amnesty, you could go to the site of Informational Center of AI Russian Groups or to the official site of AI.

This page is supported by Moscow Student Initiative AI Group. It is devoted to the Russian Network of Youth and Student Amnesty International Groups created 3 of July 2001.

We are not going to substitute any professional and official structures existent or going to be created soon for Russian AI groups. We cooperated to:

• help each other to develop our initiative groups (by advice, experience, information etc),
• organize joint work and projects (Human Rights seminars for youth, Human Rights Education programs, mutual education of young activists, holdingjoint public campaigns like "Your right not to fight" and so on),
• develop international AI youth contacts,
• develop programs of involving young peaple into AI activities,
• meet each other often and regularly.

So, our goal is not to intervene to work of any official AI structures. Our goal is just to improve cooperation of AI groups working together and willing to do it better.

We are open for all student and youth (or believing they are) AI groups in Russia thet share our ideas and ready to work together.
